Tamarack Center's educational program is funded by Spokane School District 81 as a licensed, non-public school. A certified special education teacher and a teacher's aid provide educational offerings which closely parallel the lessons in the public school system. Due to our small class size, each child receives individualized academic attention. Tamarack's classroom is bright, roomy and contains a high ratio of computers per student and is equipped to effectively aid in teaching a full range of subjects.

As a child improves, he or she may be assimilated carefully into public school while still a resident of Tamarack Center. This better prepares the child to leave our facility and successful integrate back into community living.
