Adolescents enter treatment at Tamarack Center either by way of private referral or through one of Washington State's Regional Support Networks (RSN's). Tamarack serves many residents from the northwest region and accepts referrals from across the United States and Canada. Residents of Tamarack Center receive funding for their care from a number of resources. We are CHAMPUS-certified and have contracts with a number of private insurance and managed care companies who pay for all or a portion of the care. Services for residents referred through RSN's are typically paid through the RSN.

Tamarack staff are experienced in helping families explore insurance coverage and other financial issues related to placement. We are also happy to assist families in making travel arrangements for residents and family members and in securing local accomodations for family members.

Youth are referred to Tamarack Center from a variety of sources such as psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals, managed care companies and parents. Each potential resident is evaluated prior to admission to determine the appropriateness of placement in one of our programs.
